ICACIT 2027 is organised by the School of Computing and Engineering, NIBM. The conference welcomes researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students to present their work and discuss recent developments in computing and information technology.

Conference Tracks
ICACIT 2027 invites submissions across the following tracks. Each track represents an active area of research and practice in computing and information technology. Authors are encouraged to submit work that contributes to theory, methodology, or applied systems within these areas.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
Covers machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, data analytics, big data systems, and intelligent decision-making. Submissions are invited on both foundational methods and applied systems across industry and research domains.
Computing Education and Learning Technologies
Focuses on computing pedagogy, educational technology, digital learning environments, curriculum design, and assessment practices for computing and IT education.
IoT, Cloud and Emerging Technologies
Addresses internet of things, cloud computing, edge and fog computing, distributed systems, and emerging platforms that support scalable and connected applications.
Human-Computer Interaction and Accessibility
Explores user experience, interaction design, assistive technologies, inclusive design, and accessibility for diverse users and contexts.
Green and Sustainable Computing
Covers energy-efficient computing, sustainable IT infrastructure, green data centres, and computing solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
Immersive Experiences: Creativity Meets Intelligent Media
Focuses on multimedia, virtual and augmented reality, interactive media, digital storytelling, and creative applications of intelligent systems.
Securing the Digital Future: Cyber Resilience in the Age of AI
Addresses cybersecurity, ethical hacking, network security, threat intelligence, AI-driven security, and resilience of digital infrastructure.
Intelligent Machines and Connected Systems for Industry 4.0
Covers mechatronics, robotics, automation, cyber-physical systems, and intelligent manufacturing technologies relevant to Industry 4.0.
Important Dates
The following dates apply to ICACIT 2027. Authors and participants are advised to note these deadlines carefully and plan their submissions and travel accordingly.
1st October 2026
Submission Opens
The Microsoft CMT submission portal opens for ICACIT 2027. Authors are invited to submit abstracts and extended abstracts through the conference submission system.
30th November 2026
Submission Deadline
Final date to submit abstracts and extended abstracts through the Microsoft CMT system. Submissions received after this date will not be considered for review.
5th January 2027
Notification of Acceptance
Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process. Accepted papers proceed to the camera-ready stage.
15th January 2027
Camera-Ready Submission
Accepted authors must submit the final camera-ready version of their paper, prepared according to the ICACIT 2027 guidelines.
5th February 2027
Registration Deadline
Final date to complete conference registration. At least one author of each accepted paper must register by this date for the paper to be included in the proceedings.
12th February 2027
ICACIT Conference 2027
The conference will be held at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM), Colombo, Sri Lanka. The programme includes keynote addresses, paper presentations, poster sessions, and networking.
